Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential - Downtown Little Rock

6/10 Okay

"The bed was uncomfortable the fold out bed for my kids were all sunken in let's just say that couch has seen better days. I couldn't get any clean towels and we were there 3 days. I had to chase a maid down for toilet paper the tub didn't drain. The only nice thing was the pool. The hallways had a weird smell and the carpet was filthy. And I had to vacuum my own room because nobody never came to clean. Not worth the price."

"I usually judge a hotel by its breakfast. Two parts. First, the breakfast at this establishment was terrible. They have the usual stuff, but it seems like they are buying the bottom-of-the-barrel items. The sausage links were inedible, as an example. The second part is the breakfast staff were just rude. My teenage son wanted some waffles, and they ran out of batter. He told one of the two workers that they were out, and she snapped at him, telling him to deal with it. She later had to fill the batter back up after others asked about it, but she filled it while staring at my son. They have a pool, gym, and an elevator. The pool was closed the entire 3 days we were there. The gym was open only at limited times. Finally, the elevator was incredibly slow, leading to being broken. I know this is a business, and they are in it to make money, but you have to spend some money on your facility. We have stayed here twice and have been disappointed both times. Final issue, each night, there was a semi tractor with no trailer parked across 4-5 parking spots on one side of the building and a large U-Haul pulling a large trailer parked across 6-7 spots, and parking is severely limited already. I was just disappointed overall."

"The rooms had been updated and were fine. Pillows were very firm and big. Front office staff were kind enough to supply me with a better pillow suited to my needs. Did find the 'smell' of the room disconcerting. EXTREMELY strong smell of 'bleach'. Tried opening the door and airing the place out - but it didn't work. Went to bed smelling 'it' and woke up smelling it. Two other rooms traveling together felt the same way regarding the 'smell'. The ac unit worked great but sounded like a big rainstorm when it was on. Looked at breakfast buffet and opted for McDonalds - which is very conveniently located within walking distance of the property. I would stay there again if the smell was gone. IT WAS AWFUL!"
