"I almost don't want anyone to know about the casa, but this is truly the best place to stay in porto. Not 5 minutes from the main historical square. But off the beaten path you walk down a deserted cobbled street; an unassuming door and in you walk to a luscious piazza garden with fountain; beautiful flowers and smells with a plush walk out to see the river and a good deal of porto. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing and so well appreciated. Staff go above and beyond. ...

"Beautiful hotel and fantastic service. The food was great too. Just beware aware that most cars can’t drive to the front of the hotel as the road is very narrow and you have to drag (or carry) your bags 100 metres over an old cobblestone road. It adds to the experience but if you have heavy bags, it can be challenging."

You are at steps from the river, and access to all of the restaurants & shops. We would definitely go back !"

"I had an incredible stay at this property. I was only here for a day and a half, but the hosts gave me great recommendations for restaurants and other things to do. The room was extremely clean and well-furnished. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The location cannot be beat! Right by the river so you can watch sunrise or sunset every day. "From the moment we arrived, we felt like valued guests. The staff took time to answer all our questions, explain the history of the property, and help with any thing we might have needed help with. This place is luxurious! From the marble shower, dreamy comfy beds, and spiralling staircases, we felt so spoiled. The daily breakfast was incredible, featuring local jams, breads, and chef's creations, and a wonderful way to start our day."

"Don't look for another hotel - just book here. Fantastic 5 star hotel in the best location. Reception staff all very friendly. Shout out to Rae who checked us in and showed us around the hotel facilities. The rooms are very comfortable, as is the bed. Enjoyed having the large bathroom with two sinks - made sharing a bathroom very easy. We also used the indoor leisure facilities. Pool a bit chilly but loungers comfy. Food at this hotel was tasty and not over priced. We are hoping to stay again...
