"The property was in a state of disrepair with minor and major issues. From mould in both showers, useless bath, non existent toilet flusher (just a hole in the wall) to exposed wires by the bed. The agent did want to fix things whilst we were there, but the engineer wasn’t sure when he was available that day and wanted to leave the only set of keys with him. We felt it wasn’t a good idea. Apparently, previous reviews mentioned these issues and it looks like the agent/owner are not interested...

"the air conditioning would not allow you to set the room lower than 23 degrees Celsius which is 73 degrees F. When asking the staff if our AC was broken her response was that it was cold enough. Being that it’s June and peak heat this was very uncomfortable to sleep with. Bathrooms didn’t have any ventilation and did smell musty/moldy. "

"Ein heruntergekommenes 4-Sterne-Hotel mit verblichenen und fleckigen Teppichen, unbequemen und winzigen Matratzen und einem winzigen Badezimmer. Das Zimmer allgemein machte einen wenig einladenden Eindruck. Ein Summen war die ganze Nacht im Hintergrund zu hören, wobei wir die Ursache nicht ausmachen konnten. Baulich bedingt ist das Bad recht klein, was auch weiter keine Erwähnung wert wäre. Dass allerdings in einem Haus mit 4 Sternen + S der Toilettendeckel lose ist, annähernd keine...

"Great pool, good breakfast selection, lovely grand building right on the beach. Shuttle boat into central Venice is very convenient. Drinks in the hotel are extortionate EUR 19.50 for 2 Cokes. There is a Gelateria almost opposite the hotel, that has salads, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, drinks and delicious ice creams at very reasonable prices."
