"Excellent small hotel with about 30 rooms. Excellent service, breakfast included, and hospitality with option to make changes on-site despite prepaid online reservations by major agencies. Just be aware that its location, on a busy pedestrian road in Gothic district, can make some rooms noisy at night. I enjoyed the hotel immensely despite some of the nigh noise."

"I can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t have any… there weee so many places to eat on the doorstep. This is a lovely hotel in a great place. There was works right outside but it didn’t bother us as the windows were sound proof. Lovely staff who were on hand to do anything. Lovely touches with chocolates & sweets in reception if you fancied. Lovely latte on arrival & was given some great info on area. The room was lovely, beds comfy & I would defo recommend or stay again. "

"We didn't order breakfast, so no idea. but the location is very good, close to Metro station in Le Rambla street, and just 50 feet away from the market. The room we stayed was a triple room, even smaller with 3 twin beds, but clean and quite comfortable. While most of surrounding buildings in area are like 100+ years, this hotel is new and modernized!"

"We spent 3 days in Barcelona the Hotel California. It was a little hard to locate at first but we found it was so convenient to the Ramblas, the Boqueria, even the metro. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were very helpful and personable. We are going back again this year and bringing friends and family."
