"Arai was a beautiful property with lovely views. A nice surprise was the double balconies in our suite - both included a jacuzzi. The location was perfect and close to so many beautiful sites."

"Great location right in the middle of lots of action and safe. Room was quiet, cozy and clean. AC worked great. Loved the decor. Liked having the little balcony although it was interior but still nice. Only issue was the shower floor is very slippery. Good value for comfortable room in great location. Easy to get around by subway and walking."

"Nice hotel with excellent and friendly staff. I do think the 5 star rating is a slight stretch though. It's more of a very nice 4 star, in that the facilities such as the bar, pool and rooftop bar are quite compact. The location also meant that our airport transfer was unable to take us right to the hotel as the streets directly outside are pedestrianised. Rooms are nice and clean and well equipped, but again are relatively small."

"This was a very uncomfortable stay, a lot of construction noise, small room, and unhelpful room service. There are also no restrictions on the website that claim they charge per person per room, just per room. We tried to make accommodations with the hotel in advance but was given basically none and an unhelpful attitude at the front desk and via messages. As well as trying to make us pay for a room that wasn’t even available for our whole stay. Overall frustrating, restless, and stressful...

"No pool or gym on property. It was very hot so a pool would’ve been nice. The construction around makes it a bit challenging to get to n from hotel but I guess there’s nothing they can do about that. The staff was nice n helpful. Hotel is very close to shopping n dining options. The area is a bit “sketchy” and even the taxi drivers warn us about pickpocketers around but I still felt safe walking around to get takeout at 9pm at night. It is a bit noisy due to the train that travels right under...

"Clean lobby. Very welcoming. Clean room. Nice lobby bar. Did not take breakfast. Room clean and everything worked. One note. There is a kitchenette (rm 201) but no electric there for kettle. Needed to balance kettle in edge of bathroom sink to boil! Other than that check In, stay, elevators, lobby, checkout, blackout curtains, ac unit, hot water all good."
