"Room was clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Met a wonderful kind young woman named Ruth, who made our experience wonderful. She helped us select a delicious local wine. Jonathan, our host was very accommodating and helped us get settled. Had a wonderful bonfire outside too! We drove and were able to park on site. (Not very good signage to locate entrance, but we found it.) Could hear dogs barking during the night. "

"This was the most scenic and beautiful hotel we stayed in our entire Peru trip. We could see the mountains from our balcony. Secluded hotel. Perfect for a quiet getaway. We stayed here for one night. The room was huge and beds very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety and the staff helped us get some vegetarian options from the kitchen made for us. "Lovely hotel, really enjoyed the quiet, calm setting at the foot of a steep mountain, with the sound of a stream rushing by and wonderful gardening including tons of flowers. Adding to the peace and quiet, the rooms are in separated cottages, with fireplaces, big comfy beds, good linens, and outdoor seating. "It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi. Could fit twelve people or six alpacas in the jacuzzi and still have room to do laps. Unfort we were incredibly incapable of temperature regulation (possibly our fault). The dome became a whole greenhouse during the day and outside was somehow too cold unless you were in the jacuzzi. Also the drinking water situation was a challenge - BYOW. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley, it turned out to be the perfect choice to acclimatize to the high altitude. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were genuinely concerned about my altitude sickness (which wasn't that severe, but maybe I looked worse than I felt) and offered some remedies. Luis told us all about the area, a lot you wouldn't get from tourist guides, and also took us on a lovely hike up the mountain behind us. The food in the restaurant was great,...
