"Good hotel with good staff. Food for dinner and breakfast was also good. Family room was a little small but sufficient. Very quirky layout but to be expected given the age and type of property (which is well stated on websites)."

"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when asking for additional pillows ( only 1 pp provided). The breakfast was good and tasty and plenty of attentive staff if needed. The hotel rooms however are very tired with very poor decor standards. Tiles in the bathroom were miss-matched and grubby and flooring lifting in places. Was surprised to have to pay £5 to park the car as a resident though"

"The welcome on arrival was very friendly, helpful and efficient. My luggage was taken to and from my room, which is great. All the staff were very friendly. Meals were lovely, just too much for my appetite. Enjoyed walking and sitting in the grounds too."
