"The restaurant that is highly lauded in some reviews did not exist. Once there, the owner’s son tells me that they close the restaurant during the slow season….which was NOT disclosed when I booked. It’s in a very secluded area but a drive to restaurants about 15 mins away. There’s a restaurant next door, but the opening time depends on their mood, one day was 10am and next day was 11am. They were both weekdays. They don’t clean the rooms so I had to walk to front desk for new towels and water....

"Property is very nice - very quiet and serene. Beach requires shuttle/boat, which isn’t bad but it’s not really walkable. The boat is a bit irregular on schedule. One night we were stuck on beach for longer than expected, but staff at the partner beach resort and banyan tree helped us with the shuttle."

Adults only pool options x2, great happy hours & pool service, but good for kids & families too. Pearl suite was massive with his/ hers massage tables set up & enormous balcony & luxurious touches. Felt remote, very secure, but straight out onto a lovely local village with good (but not crazy) beach vibe, lots of local restaurant options, bars on beach, massage etc. Stayed at 4x 5 star hotels across 3 weeks in Phuket and this was our unexpected favourite! Great first stop from airport (close) after long flight too. "
