"Stayed a week in the Frangipani rooms. Rooms were basic but sufficient for our needs. Outdoor shower was welcome and there was always hot water. The rooms weren't cleaned although we never requested this. Food served at lunch consisted mainly of burgers and wraps and these were tasty. There were usually 4/5 dinner options from daal soup to fish and steak dishes and these were enjoyed by the group. The free breakfast is simple consisting of cereal, bread and jam. "We loved our time at Stevensons. Yes, its a bit run down but the rooms are spacious and right on the beach - complete with turtles swimming out front of the resort. There are other places to eat down the road so you dont feel stuck there. I truely hope it can regain its former glory but either way we will be back, especially as it was more reasonably priced than other 'resorts' nearby."

"There was a distinct smell of cat urine, they have a non refundable policy and my room was close to the kitchen so lots of staff noise and plumbing noise. My meal was very substandard and most food looked very starchy."
