Some long waits for food at restaurant but island time isn’t a bad thing! Close to the airport but a bit far from Apia and other attractions in Upolu so bring cash for taxis. Best spot to book in Samoa!"

"One of my favorite things about Manava was the authentic Polynesian vibe. Beautiful place, wonderful staff. Loved being able to snorkel off our own deck - did a premium overwater bungalow for 2 days and private soaking pool bungalow for 1 day. It was fun to experience both types of rooms. The beautiful infinity pool was amazing. We just had a wonderful stay and would love to return again!"

"Stayed 6 nights in an overwater bungalow as part of a long trip to the islands of both Hawaii and French Polynesia. "Presentation upon arriving at the hotel was three star. The front desk was very helpful and very courteous. The restaurant was poor with no real service. Food was OK. It's convenient if you're staying at the hotel versus going out to find food, but if you have the means to go out and get food, I would suggest that. Would we stay here next time, probably not. Oh The room were very nice."

"I love this low key hotel. I have been there 3 times and will be back. The front desk is so helpful, the ladys are so nice! It is on the main island so you don't need to pay extra to come off the atolls. It feels like old time tahiti, with shows a couple nights a week. It is great to have the free breakfest right on the ocean."
