The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. "The location is excellent, and the hotel itself is fantastic—more of an Airbnb-style setup than a traditional stay. It’s within easy walking distance of all the top spots in Old Town, including the Basílica del Voto Nacional, Independence Square, and the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco. I’d definitely stay here again if I ever return."

"El hotel tiene una buena unbicación dentro del espacio histórico del centro, así que se puede ir caminando a los sitios. El hotel tiene 16 habitaciones, distribuídas en 3 niveles, no cuenta con elevador. Tiene un restaurante en el top con vistas al "Panecillo", la atención es esmerada, amigable y buscan dar servicio personal. La habitación esta dotada de cobertores calienes y lo necesario para tu comodidad."

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."

"Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor."
