"The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. "We loved this boutique hotel and we stayed here for 9 night. Mid stay we received an upgrade and wine however we had to ask for it. The view was Amazing! Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Everyone who was assisting us was very helpul and friendly. Not the best area around the hotel but we felt safe. The room was very clean, hotel was beautiful decorated with art and special touches. If we ever come back to Quito we are going to stay here. "

Un viejo edificio remodelado y bien adaptado para viajeros frescos y acostumbrados a conocer los rincones típicos de una ciudad con el ritmo local. Hay que subir escaleras y hay que disfrutarla vista matutina o el atardecer. Si desayunas temprano, ya estuvo, verás la niebla que baña el horizonte con su frescura sabrosa. The management is very friendly and helpful, anything you need they will do everything they can to help you. The food is equal to a gourmet resturant. If you have a special need or request they will do everything they can to accommodate your needs. Definitely the place you want to stay when your in Quito. "

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."
