"I wanted to leave an honest review of our stay.
The cleanliness of the hotel and the politeness of the staff were both great. I have no complaints about the customer service we received.
Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The hotel looked much nicer in the photos than it did in person, which was misleading. "CONS: AC was barely able to keep the room cool, but it WAS over 100⁰ outside. The restaurant and social club were both closed for remodeling, which I don't think was mentioned on the website. The bathroom lights and shower controls were needlessly overcomplicated. The pool was restricted to 16 people and they were very (VERY) strict about this. It became a running joke among the pool-goers.
PROS: Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was good with lots of stuff to do around the area....

"Staff extremely friendly. Only negative I can say is the rooms weren’t very cool. Of course, it was a heat wave. No room service while we were there. But it was fun to have a pool to cool off with and waiters who knew which drink to bring you before you even ordered."

"This was my 4th stay after about 15 years. Looked a little “worn” unfortunately. The mattresses and pillows were terrible. Pretty loud in the hallways bec the guest room doors close loudly. But the location is great, near Chelsea Mkt, subway on corner. The rooftop bar is awesome. Great view & dj. Friendly staff."

"We have been coming to this hotel for several years now. The owners will not commit to the capital commitments needed to fix the elevators. Average time can be 5-10 minutes with max time being 20-25 minutes to get up or downstairs. I know people who directly experienced the max time. Hotel management knows there is an issue but doesn’t seem like owners are willing to spend the money.
