"The room was filthy. The carpet had stains everywhere and there were stains in the bathtub. The room had an odd odor. Overall, it was pretty disgusting. I mentioned this to the attendant who asked me if the carpet matched the hallway carpet, which appeared to be fairly new. I described the carpet in the room; he then assigned me a new room that he said was better. I think it was worse. In the end, I canceled my reservation and requested a refund from Expedia.
