"The hotel was good overall, and I would stay there again. However, the “hot” pool was not actually hot — it was only slightly warm. I also had a negative experience with one of the staff members when I asked if they could open the door between the hotel and the garage. She responded rudely and pointed out that there was a sign saying the door was out of service."

"The place was clean and the staff was very helpful! However There was only 1 of the 2 bottles of "complimentary" (aka $2/ea.) water in our room when we arrived. The A/C was not working. We were woken up by construction very early Saturday morning. The final straw was when we returned to our room that night and could hear 2 small dogs barking in the room next door. Not something the hotel could prevent, but was the last thing we could put up with after trying to work with the other issues....

"I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). "The room was clean and had plenty of space. The pool was closed and then reopened but then closed again. There is no hot tub on the property as shown in pictures. Breakfast was ok and the pancake machine was not functioning."

At one point I was told they ran out. But when I walked by the cleaning cart it was loaded with coffee sugar and creamer. ( No I didn't take them from cart) When I signed in they said I had to pay a $25 deposit, This is after my non refundable $600 was already paid.
