"Stayed here for one night while visiting Banff. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to be given a room with two queen beds even though our booking showed one bed.
The highlight of the stay was definitely the view from the room. Waking up to the mountain scenery was fantastic and made the stay feel extra special.
The only minor disappointment was that the photos made it look like the room had a private balcony. In reality, it was more of a shared exterior deck/walkway used to access the rooms. It wasn't a big issue since we were only staying for one night, but the photos could be a little clearer on that point.
The shared hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day of exploring. It's on the smaller side, but it was still a great place to relax and unwind. Just be warned that the water gets quite hot, so most people probably won't want to stay in for very long. The area around the hot tub could also be kept a bit cleaner.
There isn't much within walking distance besides a couple of places to eat, but that's to be expected in this area. Overall, it was a great value stay. If you're planning to visit Banff and don't want accommodation costs to eat up your budget, Canmore is a beautiful place to stay and this property is a solid option."
