Top Port of San Sebastian Hotel Reviews

Hotel Palacio Bellas Artes San Sebastián, Curio Collection by Hilton

10/10 Excellent

"Great spot, the beds were so comfortable"

The Social Hub San Sebastián

8/10 Good

"Everything was great, except for the slope in the shower was almost non existent and the water got everywhere in the bathroom. We did not reserve an ADA room, but that is what we got. Totally recommend this place except for the ADA room."

Intelier Victoria Hotel by Intelier Hotels & Suites

8/10 Good

"Pros: Excellent location (10–15 min walk to Old Town), exceptionally clean, and the staff were wonderful. Having a third-party parking garage right across the street was a massive convenience for our road trip base. Plus, having top-tier cocktail spots like Alkimia right around the corner made up for the hotel not having its own bar. Cons: The rooms are extremely small, which made it a little tight for settling in over a 7-night stay. Overall: Great value and location if you plan to be out exploring the Basque Country all day!"

Hotel SANSEbay

8/10 Good

"The location is amazing. The staff were very helpful and kind. À la carte breakfast was a good value. The room was a perfect size, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was perfect—with glass as the top part of the walls, I hardly had to turn on a bathroom light. The fast hot water made the day melt away. Plenty of counter space on the sink was a big plus. Good hairdryer. The small chairs in the room were surprisingly comfortable. The whole place was efficient and comfy. I loved that my morning coffee at Motx was a 3 minute walk and you could literally stumble back from a night of Pintxos if that’s your thing. The downsides: though they give photo directions for driving there, they didn’t mention anything about the right turn up the hill to the hotel. I was driving at night and it felt super sketchy. My room had a window that faced a stone wall. It was a lovely stone wall, covered in lush ferns, but still…a wall. The bed was a bit firm and it was two singles pushed together so would have been a bit awkward had I been traveling with my partner. I had no cell reception in my room, so when the whole of Old Town lost its internet, I had no connectivity inside the hotel. I wondered why they had earplugs in the room until I realized how thin the walls are. Thankfully it’s a block from the tapas spots, so not too much street noise. Lots of Americans stayed there. Truly a great find! I’d try to get a water view room next time."

Hotel Zenit Convento San Martín

"Beautiful lobby bar, get some pintos when you’re sitting for a drink! It’s a great location for anyone wanting to be near the old town. Helpful staff and well maintained hotel. Decent room and bathroom size."
