"This property was in a great area close to town but far enough to be very quiet. Staff was wonderful from beginning to end and went above and beyond in service. The room while basic was extremely clean and bed very comfortable. I would suggest a magnifying mirror for bathroom. The towel dryer was especially nice after rinsing bathing suits. The bikes were great to see town and restore at beach for a bit! We had an early am train to Barcelona and Villa Soro had taxi waiting and breakfast...

"We have stayed at this LASALA in San Sebastian many times in the past 8 years and have rated it one of our top hotels in Europe. No longer. From the moment we entered we were aware of a coldness and lack of excitement. Being told to sit in low lying seats for reception and check in, signing a list of “hotel rules” almost being lectured by the staff on what to do and not to do put all of us in a contradictory and defensive mood. "Great hotel in an ideal location to get to where you need to. Plenty to do at the hotel with the gym, pool and social areas. The hotel bar is reasonably cheap and you don’t feel like you’re being taken advantage of. The staff were all super helpful with recommendations and tips for the parking. Great transport links to get into town with local buses/bikes. Would highly recommended this place to anyone and if returning to the city, I will certainly rebook."
