"When we arrived they claimed they didn’t have our booking, they then tried to put us in a room that was of a lower standard than we had paid for, we had to insist, unfortunately communication was very poor.
This lack of communication made everything very difficult and frustrating.
We booked one of the cottages, which are located on the roof, this resulted in us hearing road noise 24/7
Breakfast was very disappointing, we ended up only eating once at the hotel.
The bathroom had no storage...

"L’hôtel est magnifique au milieu des temples, les chambres sont rénovées et propres. Le lit est confortable. Le wi-fi fonctionne correctement ainsi que l’eau chaude et la pression. Le personnel est super sympa.
Il y a néanmoins une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre, et le bruit de la route avec les scooters, car la fenêtre n’est pas de bonne qualité. Prévoyez les bouchons d’oreille."

"Stay was quiet and lovely. The staff were very friendly.
Pool was refreshing after a hot day
There was an amazing massage place just down the road, highly recommend them too!
Would definitely stay here again, especially for the price"

"This is our second stay within 2 years at Desa Potato Head. Everything about the hotel is top class, esp the service that is a world apart. On the margin, the hotel needs a bit of touch up and needs to get back their full poolside menu, which was superb."
"A Great place to stay! In a secluded convenient location yet just moments from all amenities. We have stayed here twice and can recommend with confidence. The buffet breakfast is amazing as well, though lazing by the pool is very hard to beat.
If you are looking for a little more up market and friendly, put this one on your list."
The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Villa for a birthday celebration. We had an absolutely wonderful and memorable time.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They were all very attentive and provided personal care, always knowing our names, for a special occasion, knew when we were departing, helped to chauffeur us around in their buggies. Faultless service.
The pools were well shaped, well positioned and very clean. We had a good stroll along the beach and I would say we booked the best hotel in that area!
Many thanks for the wonderful stay!"
"Beautiful resort, but not quite the value or service level we expected
We stayed at Conrad Bali for the final part of our honeymoon. The hotel, grounds, pools, restaurants and overall setting are genuinely stunning, and visually it was one of the most impressive places we stayed in Bali/Lombok.
Our standard room was comfortable. The facilities were excellent, and we particularly loved the quieter smaller pool. We had not expected quite so many families and children, but this did not significantly affect our stay.
Breakfast had a good selection, and most of the food was very good. The Japanese and Indonesian restaurants were outstanding. However, the hotel was full, so restaurant bookings were needed, which made things feel less spontaneous. We were also disappointed with the seafood restaurant on our final night.
The main downside was value and service. Conrad was significantly more expensive than elsewhere we stayed in Bali/Lombok. While the setting and facilities partly justify that, food and drink felt very expensive by Bali standards. Service was pleasant but often slow, impersonal and more arduous than expected for this level of hotel.
Nusa Dua is convenient for an easy resort stay, but there is limited local atmosphere beyond resorts and Bali Collection. Overall, Conrad Bali is beautiful, but for us it did not offer the same warmth, value or personal service as other places we stayed. We enjoyed it, but probably would not return."
"staff were really friendly and welcoming. Better for younger families I would say. Breakfast was fantastic. Nice selection of activities for young children. Only down side is this is a pretty noisy hotel in the evening. Often families coming back around late and we had a room next to us that was obviously a joining room for another family but they were very loud and it almost felt like they were in the same room. We really enjoyed our stay but it was a little noisy at night. If you want a peaceful relaxing evening and have older children I would recommend a villa stay instead."
