"We were in Providence for an event at Amica center in February. The Ommi was the PERFECT place as there are walkways that you can take to the wonderful Providence place mall and also to the Amica center. So we did not have to walk outside on a very chilly Feb stay. Staff was wonderful, room was clean, spacious, great amenities. We had the best time!"

"First, the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant are excellent. We arrived early and were wet and exhausted on a chilly morning. We asked if we could possibly leave our bags or check in early. Lucy jumped in and got us into our room right away. We were able to sleep, warm up and relax before heading out to explore. "Our stay at the Hilton Providence was not pleasant. I believe the hotel is under construction. There was no lobby, just a temporary entrance, the elevators sheathed in brown paper, a warren of rooms with no signage on the main floor and our room devoid of amenities. No coffee cubes, a coffee machine that needed repair even to make decaf tea, dismal furnishings, no fan in the bathroom. We should’ve been advised that this was not the time to stay there. "Yes, room was clean including the air quality. I am highly sensitive to mold and allergies. Was NOT an issue what so ever. Please keep in mind that this place is a living place of historic significance. The original training center for fireman since 1856!!!. Please dont judge it until you get inside.
