"Pleasant hotel in need of some love. Opposite the beach with a good walk to the main part of town but places to eat and drink nearby. General public bar, restaurant and sitting room in good condition. Our room had lovely sea view with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom, with plenty of hot water. Had comfortable chairs and good curtains which kept the light out but unfortunately both had food stains and were in need of a good clean. Other furniture needed replacing, covered in heat marks from hair straighteners and a wonky unclosing wardrobe. Squeaky floor in room and bathroom but appreciate its an old hotel."

"Had a perfect stay at the Beach House. I was only there for one night but the hotel had everything I needed for such an amazing price. The owner even did us an early breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning. Nothing was too much hassle. The room was clean, bed comfy and the water was hot. It was even in the most perfect position right over the road from the pier and the beach! What else could anyone need! Perfect. Thanks for a lovely albeit brief stay. Would definitely stay again."

"This is a nice Victorian Hotel right at the end of the street so no through traffic. Behind it are extensive parks for kids to play. You have views of Llandudno. The gentleman we found at the reception Saturday morning made it look like we were the guests he'd been waiting for all along. The lady serving breakfast Sunday morning sounded like we were her own guests in her own sitting room! We will definitely return. Thanks."

"Had 3 days at the Empire last week. Room was lovely, bathroom could do with a shelf to put toiletries on. Food was good, only had 1 evening meal here. In a good position to get to everywhere."

"Lovely room with a view. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast you couldn't fault great choice hot and cold. A lovely terrace outside to sit with a drink and admire the view, also a communal lounge. Great location, only downside is you have to look for parking but we managed to find a spot."
