"The place is beautiful, and our room was very good.
The biggest issue was that Uber or Bolt does not pick up there. And we had to ask the hotel to call a taxi, which was really expensive (3x Uber). From Edinburgh center, ~£20 Uber and £50 taxi. Or you can go to the nearest train station for ~£15.
The other issue was that there is no phone coverage in the hotel and very weak connection outside."

"We had the suite at the top of the tower and were elated. The room and the view was great. We could see Arthur’s seat and the Castle clearly from our window. The restaurant was great and I had one of the top 3 best desserts I’ve ever had. The bed was comfy, the staff was friendly."

"Nice hotel, all was as expected. Absolutely miserable woman tending the bar - not customer oriented and restaurant order process was confusing as there are no wait staff and QR code for ordering in menu does not work . Aforementioned bar tender bluntly told us this when we told her we could not get it to work. Have to order food at bar but no signage or direction to do this was posted."

"This is a modern, updated hotel. The rooms are European small and would accommodate a shorter stay than our 8 night visit. There is very little drawer space or places to hang clothes and no privacy in the bathrooms. The breakfast was good but the same everyday with little variety. Again, this works for a 2-3 night stay but I don't recommend for extended stays."

翌朝早いフライトなので近いところに泊まったのですが、日本円に直すと結構なお値段にも関わらず、なんとも残念な気分でございました。
但し、空港に行くのであればものすごく便利です。ホテル目の前の空港行きバスが夜中〜早朝でも頻繁に走っており、午前4時でも特に治安に不安はありませんでした(体格の良い男性ではありますが)。"
