We ate at the restaurant and it was fine for happy hour drinks and small plates. The pool was heated (but still not very warm). The location was nice and it was the best of the lodgings during our month-long travels. "

I also really liked the outdoor eating areas and the communal kitchen and lounge areas were lovely to chill with new friends. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and had a lot of local information. It was great to have a kitchen, which had everything you need, to make your own food. "Te Mahuru is a most exceptional, beautiful, very clean and overall, a perfect place to stay. Jen went out of her way to be accommodating and we give thanks t the highest rating possible. The gardens and views were spectacular, the hot tubs were lovely and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread each morning and plenty of great choices. The patio off our room was very private and comfortable for sitting with a cup of tea gazing at the beautiful mountains in the background....
