"Mattress on Bed not the most comfortable . Couldn’t understand how the tv worked to get normal channels . so instructions would’ve helpful . ( subtitles didn’t seem available on bbc player which we needed as we are both hearing impaired ) But everything else was ok as we were only staying for one night and the staff are helpful on check in and our room was ready early "

"Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. The radiator nob not functioning as it should. Should have stayed two nights but left after the first. Sorry, but proper cleaning of the room is so...

"The whole experience, two nights, was excellent. The room was very large, well fitted and although we did not housekeeping refreshment were replenished, when requested. The food was of high standard and equally matched by the service. Only criticism was poor pressure in the sink hot water tap. It was an accessible room so understand the concern of the hot tap. "

"Fabulous!! Stopped in the “Brewood” room on a Tuesday night. Hadn’t thought to book a table for dinner, which was rather last minute as we had 6 guests joining us. The staff were amazing; despite being fully booked, they opened their private dining room for us. The food is fantastic, and the included breakfast was brilliant quality. Top quality sausages!! Thank you for having us! "

"I wasnt a fan of the overuse of air freshner in the room. It was overpowering. Generally, the room was looking a bit tired. The staff were very nice and worked hard to make the stay pleasant. Dinner was good."

"Our stay at the vine was lovely, Pros convenient right in the centre, Loverly friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, tea coffee facilities. Cons, steep narrow stairs upto the top floor, really squeaky floor boards in the room kept waking others up in the room when getting up to use the bathroom in the night. Second time I’ve stayed and would definitely visit again. "

"Stayed 1 night at a weekend when attending a friends party nearby. Big room with en-suite. Had to go into the bar to check in, although busy someone attended to us straightaway and was very helpful. The milk for the tea/coffee was out of date, I'm sure they would have changed it for us if we had needed it. The live band played until gone 11pm and the normal music continued until after midnight, so if you are looking for a quiet night at the weekend this might not be for you! "

"I attended the racing on Saturday. Had a great time with lovely food and excellent staff. Stayed overnight - room changed from twin to king - and I had the luxury of a bath😌 My first experience in a Holiday Inn"
