Pittsburgh Marriott City Center

"Fantastic team, friendly and welcoming service. Rooms a bit dated but very clean. Need charging or power points near bed."

Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was easy. We arrived late - shuttle showed up quick, check in was easy. Check out was also a breeze. Everyone was friendly. Would definitely stay again if I am flying in or out of PIT early or late. Very convenient. Only downside - breakfast not included. "

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport
10/10 Excellent
"The bathroom tub could have been a little cleaner but the room itself was nice. The room just needed a mini fridge and microwave. "

Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore
10/10 Excellent

TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was formerly a trade college, nicely repurposed so as to leave traces of the old school visible. Our room was small, but fully functional and comfortable. Probably not a good choice for non-couples, since the shower is not inside a bathroom. Bed was super comfortable, there was plenty of space to work at the desk.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of any restaurant or store in Lawrenceville. Valet parking was $32 a day within In-N-Out privileges, and the valets are always available. Given the parking situation in this area of Pittsburgh, it was super convenient. You might be able to find on street parking for free, but we were driving a large vehicle and figured it was worth the extra cost.
Our booking included a $16 voucher toward breakfast downstairs at the coffee shop. That was plenty for a small breakfast and coffee, although people who want a larger meal made up paying a few dollars extra. Coffee was excellent, and the food was very good.
All in all a great day. This is a funky boutique hotel located in a vibrant and busy part of town with great nightlife. If you’re looking for a traditional hotel, like a Hilton or Marriott, this is not it. If you’re looking for comfortable experience with that much younger vibe, this is your place."

Etage Executive Living
4/10 Poor
"47 minutes before our arrival, I received a call from a woman claiming to be a manager from Etage. I booked 2 rooms and she stated that she could only provide one of the rooms that they were "sold out". I booked the rooms via Expedia on January 31. I asked why the call the day of arrival. She stated, you booked through a site other than Etage and they are sold out. She became very hostile and when I told her she was being hostile she accused me of being hostile. I told her it was unacceptable getting a call just before check in letting me know they were sold out and they shouldn't offer there rooms on other sites if they don't want bookings on other sites. She once again stated I should not have booked on Expedia.. She kept getting louder shouting we are sold out and I informed her she needed to find my room. She said okay and hung up. I called back and asked if she found my room and she said yes and housekeeping was cleaning it now. While at the hotel there was a constant stench of marijuana, cigarette smoke and other foul smells. Which really takes away of the beauty of the rooms. Also, we never felt safe because of many shady characters hanging out by the hotel. I spoke with the general manager about the call and people hanging around the hotel. He did state the call was unacceptable and he had no control over the crowds around the hotel, mainly because of the bus stop next to the hotel. Definitely will not stay here again."
