"We absolutely loved our stay here at the Castle hotel. Beautiful hotel with such amazing staff that put you at ease even with all the grandure they made us feel so welcome and relaxed like we had known them for years. Beautiful three course meal by candlelight in a stunning dining room with silver service and a very charming Gentleman who entertained us all after dinner with his talent playing a beautiful big Harp and Grand piano while we enjoyed a cocktail. We will definitely be going back....

"We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. "

"Jenny was a wonderful host. Hot individual selected breakfast items freshly cooked. Delicious and lots of choices. I loved the eggs with smoked salmon. Room was lovely. "A lovely room in a converted stone building, separate from the main pub. Comfortable king-size bed and a small but adequate bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The only snag was the too-heavy duvet; we boiled on the first night! The second night we took the cover off it & slept under that. Good breakfast but we would have preferred to be able to eat at 8.30 instead of 9am."
