"Property is clean and reasonably up to date. Location is rural, out of town but close by, and therefore quiet and peaceful. It is attached to a Casino, awesome if you like that, but adequately separated if you don’t. A bar and limited restaurant are in the hotel area, with additional bar and small food court in the casino. I’ve been staying here for years due to location and quiet."

Continental breakfast. Some breakfast items are in the freezer and needs to be microwaved...Interesting coffee stirrers...."

"Nice, clean, comfortable stay. We were driving through on a PCH trip and spent one night (May 15, 2026) here because the Holliday Inn didn't have rooms available, and we must say that it was a very nice alternative that we wouldn't have found otherwise because we usually use points to book. The hotel was clean and the room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the desk clerk that afternoon shared some great restaurant suggestions. We are from Texas and might not ever...

"The inn keeper was very nice and even upgraded our room free of charge to the corner room with a view of the town. The building is a beautifully upkept, literally Victorian style inn on the main strip of Ferndale; only 15 minutes from downtown Eureka. The dining room and bar have a homely feel with the large fireplace and friendly staff. Each room at the inn is unique in its own right and theme. I was surprised at how tall the ceilings are because usually older buildings have lower ceilings, but...

"You get what you expect from a motel. Old furniture, spotty carpet floors, a bit smelly, and sometimes absent front desk. But not bad for the price."

"Everything was good and staff very helpful. Breakfast was incredible. Reminded us of going to the haunted mansion at Disneyland. The decor, music ,etc. Had a problem with tv and they came and fixed it immediately! The breakfast was a gourmet one. Walking distance to town."
