"Parking!!! 100 percent for a clean well run hotel. Special commendation to a very helpful staff. Even a welcome beverage. However hotel is close to the big church and cars are prohibited during the days and unsurprisingly the hotel has no parking. By phoning ahead we were met by one of the staff who organized valet- type parking. I was led to believe the cost to be 50 pesos for the day. On departure we were met by the parking valet and were required to pay 300 pesos - that leaves a sour taste after an otherwise very pleasant stay."

"Multiple issues with this property. First the good – our room was lovely with plenty of space and light, a charming brick barrel ceiling, comfortable bed, and the location is very central, quiet, and peaceful. But no comfortable place to sit or read, just the bed and a cramped little desk with a hard wood chair. Definitely needs a good chair or small sofa which there's clearly room for. Now the bad – the floors were filthy and hadn't been cleaned in ages; they turned everything that touched them black with dirt. We asked for them to be cleaned, and they just ran a damp mop in circles which wasn't near enough. WiFi is extremely weak across the property. The hotel washing machines shared a wall with our room, very loud and ran for hours. For some reason a man was walking on the ledge directly outside our window on two occasions, especially unnerving for my wife. They never had any coffee available in the free coffee area, pods or drip. The public seating areas are all uncomfortable, and the staff just sits around without much interest in service. Finally, hotel access is weird, hard for taxis to find, and challenging with luggage as it sits in a narrow passageway next to and below the bridge road. It's a very narrow passageway, up and down multiple outside stairs, hidden from view. Not much room to carry bags or even wide enough for an umbrella if it rains. We wouldn't choose to stay here again and can't recommend Villa Limon to others."

"We had an amazing stay at Concepción Boutique Hotel. The property is beautiful, peaceful, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located in the heart of San Miguel. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful way to relax in the sun, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Is it the most affordable place to stay? No. But for us the experience and amenities were worth it, especially as we were celebrating an anniversary. We originally booked a standard room (small window with limited natural light), but the staff kindly upgraded us to a room with a larger window and a fridge. It was beautiful, very clean, and surprisingly quiet despite the busy road outside—though you will hear church bells, so bring earplugs if you need. The highlight of the property is the common areas. The pool and hot tub are tucked against a stone wall with greenery, making it feel private and relaxing. You do need to give a couple of hours’ notice if you’d like the hot tub turned on, but it was always warm and ready when we asked. Breakfast is included by the pool each morning (fruit, granola, and omelettes or chilaquiles). Simple but a nice start to the day. The location is fantastic—everything we wanted was within about a 15-minute walk. We especially loved Inside Cafe (great rooftop views and sandwiches), only a 3-minute walk away, and there’s also an OXXO nearby. Only downside was that the shower water took 5–10 minutes to warm up. Overall a wonderful stay & we’d happily return!"
