"I love the brand experience. Standard and funky accords the world. I would not stay in these rooms with another person though unless you are only using the room to sleep. It’s really small. Perfect for a solo not for a couple. Sad they had to be acquired by Marriott. Hope they are able to keep their unique style and not get flattened by corporate. Will def stay again in San Francisco and elsewhere. Great location."

"We have stayed at canopy several times throughout the years and it’s always been good. However, this time the room AC was turned off in the middle of the night and it was extremely hot. We couldn’t get it turned back on. Additionally, we stayed for one night, but we’re charged three nights of valet parking. When I called the lady that I spoke with argued with me for 20 minutes before finally reversing the two nights valet parking that I did not use. It didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth...

"For the price paid, it was what I expected. It was a place to sleep, shower, change clothes, and they have coffee in the lobby in the morning. The swimming pool was located across the street, but since I stayed only one night, I didn't go to use it, but that seemed a little inconvenient. Like I said, for the price paid, I got what i paid for. The self-parking was an extra charge. I believe they charged me $30 for the night. "The front desk staff was very kind when I was checking in. It was a very quick process. My room was also very clean and felt very comfortable while I stayed there. I also loved that it included a sound machine for when it was time to sleep!"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was safe. Pool was clean and warm. Water dispenser was broken. Beds were clean and comfortable. The property was well kept and absolutely beautiful at dusk when the outside lights turn on. Feels like you're not even in the city. (Except we heard gunshots at about 2:45am) There's no fridge or microwave in rooms which was a bummer but they did have an ice machine. Overall great stay and will probably be returning someday."
