"While the room was spacious and clean the unstaffed hotel can feel inhospitable and unwelcoming. The notice that you’ll be removed from your room if you have someone over to do little more than wait for an Uber resulted in an uncomfortable and awkward situation. The lock code was obvious when assigned and troublesome not working within several tries, the code to the ice and water also stopped working on our second day, resulting in no water or ice on our second night."

"I had a great stay at this property. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my visit. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing experience. Breakfast was good, and the amenities were exactly as advertised. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers."

"We had 2 bicycles, which we won't leave on the car rack overnight. Our room was conveniently just inside the back entrance, so it could not have been easier. Good restaurant downtown, excellent stay."

"I had stayed in this hotel one week earlier on my way to Florida and I left the charger for my electric toothbrush. When I returned on my way back to Virginia I found out that the maid had turned it in to the front desk. It was an insignificant piece of equipment but it was nice that they held it for my return. The front desk clerk and the maid were very helpful in making me feel welcome. The clerk that works the front office in the morning was also on top of everything. She kept the coffee...

"I like everything about the property . No complaints . Clean , good breakfast. The staff is so helpful and mannerly especially Shirley such a nice lady . I will be staying there next month when am back in town ."

"Excellent stay, went up for a night to get away. Staff was amazing and helpful, had dinner at The Independent downstairs and couldn't be happier. This might be a once a month getaway to rejuvenate the batteries. Would have love to see Saturday Brunch a little earlier, but that may not be the Hotels fault."
