"The hotel is in a great central location. It is directly across the street from the Reading Market, which is a delightful place to visit. From desk staff to restaurant staff, housekeeping, and even the Uber drivers everyone was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Our room was large and the bathroom had adequate counter space for toiletries. Beds were quite comfortable and the duvet covering felt luxurious to lie under. A lovely place to stay."

"We particularly liked the breakfast every morning and the happy hour from 5-6. The staff was extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again particularly for the proximity to the Philly sites. The Visitor's Center, Independence Hall and Liberty Bell are within a block or two. Thanks for a great stay."

"Our first room's thermostat was not working properly (stayed 74 Farhenheit the whole night with high fan mode) so they switched to another room the next day which we were grateful for. However, the new room had mold at the corner of the shower booth as the water was dripping constantly from the shower head and one of the nightstand's light wasn't working.
The breakfast area was too crowded.
It is close to other places. Valet parking waiting time was not bad at all. However, I am not sure if we...

"Likes: Charming, quaint and personal. Clean. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location for historic district, dining and city center, all within walking distance. Area felt safe at all times.

"The continental breakfast was good. Free water bottles was a nice touch. I did not like the temperature controls in the room. 68 degrees was the coolest temperature allowed, and on a hot, humid day, that is not cool enough for sleeping.
Location is great -- close to theaters and restaurants and the shopping on Walnut St. As long as the room temperature doesn't bother you, I'd say go for it!"

"I was charged a $50 bar bill to my room. I disputed the charge and was told my credit card would be credited. It has yet to be applied. I will give them a few more days, although it has been six days already.
The stay was ok. Hotel room was well overpriced, over $400 per room that was a standard room. Location is very good in Old City. Staff was kind, cooperative and helpful. Probably grossly underpaid as well. Let's hope Wyndham corporate credits my card soon."

"Went for a little staycation for a break from the kids. It's located in a quieter part of the city not directly in the heart of Center City Philly but close enough to walk to shop and restaurants on a day when the weather is nice. Check in was simple but the rooms were pretty small. I did appreciate there's a microwave on every floor located with the ice machines."
