"This is a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. We stayed only one night and if needed we could have stayed long. Next time we are in Philly we will absolutely stay there again. It’s no frills but doesn’t need to be!"

"Excellent stay would highly recommend it! The room had a wonderful view and comfortable bed. The history of the hotel was evident everywhere and I enjoyed it."

"The property was amazing, amenities were wonderful although our stay was short so we didn’t get to utilize all of them. Only issue we had was with some of the door hardware, but we didn’t notice it until right before we left and we brought it to their attention and they were having someone look at it right after we left. All in all, I’d definitely go back!"

"Beautiful, large room wtih tasteful, thoughtfully-selected furniture and amenities. Location was excellent for visiting the historic landmarks. Media system in room was problematic and did not work over the 5-night visit. Efforts to fix it were unsuccessful."

"The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms could have been a little cleaner. There was a large makeup stain on the back of one of the chairs. Also the vanity bench had stains that could have been cleaned a little better. The front room did get a little warmer. But the bedroom was cooler. I was in the executive suite so maybe closing the door cause the front room to stay warm. The room does not come with the microwave, but you can request one. Overall, it was a good view of the city...
