I’ll list the positives first. The bed was comfy, the shower was good, room was clean and the location is great if you are visiting the historic areas of Philly. We also enjoyed the happy hour at Panorama each day, although we weren’t real impressed with the portion sizes of the meal we had one night.
As far as the negatives, our TV never worked and when the front desk sent someone up to fix it, he couldn’t get it to work either. As a tea drinker, there is only coffee in the lobby each day. Hot water would have been appreciated. We never had cold water from our faucet in the bathroom, so had to brush our teeth with warm water. Very few outlets in the room for charging, and although mine was plugged into one, it never charged my phone. No coffee pot in the room, no fan in bathroom, and a tiny tiny closet. Lastly, our total charge was $30 more than our Expedia quote, due to added taxes that I wish Expedia would have included. Overall, it is a quaint old hotel, so don’t expect too much. I doubt we would stay there again.
