Overall a nice, boutique feel hotel but the lighting in the room is pathetic. It is so dark by the sink and vanity it requires a cellphone flashlight - no joke. If you need to look presentable for an important engagement, stay elsewhere.

Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown
Very nice room perfect for two people wasn’t too big was perfect. Size loved it very clean. Very good. Hot water. Staff was very friendly. The parking is a little bit odd but it is downtown so that has to be understandable.

The Hotel San Carlos is like a museum. It has an old timey feel to the place. Yet it is well maintained. I thought the Hotel oozed character.
