"Breakfast was ok apart from having the same dishes every day, need to mix it up a bit more, especially with the nice satay food which they only served once while we were there. My room was large and clean, but a bit dated. Staff were relatively friendly and pool access room (garden view) was lovely. "

The pool is good, but the beach furniture is a bit tired. Overall, a very reasonable getaway, (except for the overwhelming presence of the escaping crowd from that Eastern European country, which the property can not help)."

"Saii Laguna is a gorgeous property that is well maintained and it is on the beachfront so beach access is immediate and perfect. The staff are amazing. They walked us to our room and explained everything. On our last night they let us check out at 12pm then use the facilities all days so we could catch out night flight. The property and rooms are clean. Bed is cozy. The only thing to know is that the Laguna properties are isolated from the other bigger parts of Phuket. If you are looking for a family, resort vibe -this may be perfect. If you are looking to be in more of the action you may find it far away. Patong beach is about 40 minutes by car to give an example. So it depends on what kind of vacation you want to have."

"Room did not overlook the beach. This is not a beachfront hotel as stated and it should not be consider a 5 star hotel. Right outside the hotel lots of trash and areas under construction. Not a luxury area as stated. The only nice amenities were gym and pool . Not vibe, silent and quiet. Breakfast was average. Basic. Staff was kind and friendly, but not as a 5 start luxury hotel experience. Very disappointed. "
