Ett boende med dålig service. Problem med taxi som ej kan köra fram till boendet då det är en enorm uppförsbacke till boendet. Vi hade dessutom kackerlackor på vårt rum.

For the price its nice resort but there are flaws.
Good: location, situated on top of the hill 5 minutes from Karon Beach. Not for everyone given the slope of the hill is very steep but the apartment offers great views. Apartments are spacious and roomy, pools are nice, it has a small gym which is convenient for most but if you like a proper workout then its insufficient. Air con is cold and nice, room tv has couple of foreign channels but most channels are in Thai. Place has elevator which is handy if you are on higher floors. Price is good considering the size and amenities on offer. Bad: no frills service, cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, i notified the staff that somebody had done their body trimming on the balcony but nobody bothered to clean it up. On the final day before check out i asked why it wasn't addressed and the manager stated she forgot to take care of it. You wont have daily room service meaning no fresh towels or toiletries. You also don't have a laundry so you need to either wash your clothes or take them to nearby laundry shops. Overall, i would give this place 6.5/10. Probably 7 or even 7.5 if service and overall cleaning was conducted properly. You can do better but if you are on a budget or are spending most of your days site seeing then for the price and its spaciousness this place is hard to beat.

Not ideal for families with small children
Please note you have to pay for your electricity. Also, it's a condeminun, so no house keeping. If you want one, have to pay 500 bht a day. There was a horrible smell in the toilets like a drainage problem, the appartment was not clean at all. Some positives will be, the swimming pools, they are good, the view from the room was amazing, staff is polite, but does not understand English too well. Also, the way to the resort is a steep uphill so it's extremely inconvenient while commuting. Had a hire a car as we had a family with us. Sorry, but won't recommend the place.

Things You Should Know About Sunset Plaza
Things you should know, no cleaning, change, toilet paper stocking, shampoo, soap, garbage bags, was provided so be prepared to purchase. All the hotels I've stayed in Phuket provided free drinking water on a daily basis, sometimes a beer, this one, nothing. Had to leave a cash deposit for electricity! Yes you have to pay for it, beware of leaving the a/c on all day as it will cost you! Noisy as I believe they are building something behind it. In my opinion I don't believe this place should be on Hotels.com, it's not a hotel, its a short term furnished apartment! Being there for only 1 week and having to go out and buy all these items was very new and strange and somewhat painful unless you have a motor vehicle of some sort as the driveway to the hotel is a very, very steep slope. I watched ladies walk up it and by the time they reached the top could hardly breathe! The condo was very spacious, furniture was old but was fine, cable tv is terrible, wifi was good. If you have an ocean view room you're in for a treat as the views are unbelievable due to it being up on the hill. Staff there were very friendly and worked very hard keeping the exterior clean. Pool is nice only thing its sandwiched between 2 buildings, only a few people used it as the sunshine was rare. All in all I would have probably stayed there again if all the negative issues were presented up front at least you can be prepared, however for the same price there are a lot better places to stay.
