The altar inside the Basilica of Bom Jesus has statues of St. Francis Xavier and the Infant Jesus. Built at the end of the 16th century, the Basilica of Bom Jesus meaning Good or Infant Jesus is a UNESCO world heritage site. It holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, who went to India from Portugal to preach the gospel and do missionary work in Goa and other Portuguese provinces in India at the time. #Details

The staff where brilliant hotel was clean and tidy rooms clean only reason I gave it was 3 star was it was wedding season and the only place to have lunch was closed due to a wedding booking it out so we had to order pool side in the heat
