"Amazing staff and location! Went on a family trip with cousins and extended in laws and stayed here solo. It was absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with my little Spanish speaking abilities (thank you all for your patience!) Breakfast was convenient and available daily. "Ok, it’s not The Hilton. But it is secluded and private. Yes, you will have a bit of a drive to get to town, walking is out of the question. Don’t expect fluffy white towels and a stocked fridge. Not even a cooler. Yes, the dogs will probably bark at you, a lot. But they are quite harmless. If you keep your expectations low, you will be satisfied. In my unit out back there was a view of the Volcano, peace and quiet. ( I like that part). Ok, the power went off 3 times and the water shut off twice. I really enjoyed the sheep farmer who paraded his flock right beside me. Leaving a trail of sheep turds along the way. It was hilarious. Amenities? There isn’t any. The long and the short of it is, you only get what you pay for. The only part I wasn’t too keen on was the huge overflowing garbage can right in front of the unit. That wasn’t nice. I mean really, how much effort does it take to empty the trash?"

"Excellent location Good size rooms Excellent food )dinner) at their restaurant Some staff at the reception were not so helpful (deadline for ordering takeout breakfast was 8 pm, we got back at 9 pm the receptionist said, you are too late for ordering breakfast. I said, OK tomorrow morning please put a couple of fruits for us to have AFTER we get from our early morning tour. She said NO! I said, but the buffet will be there, just put a couple of things in a bag for us…she refused….!!!!) No tea making facilities in the rooms No one to help with suitcases We emailed them in advance and they arranged shared airport transfers, all on time."

"We had an amazing experience. Our apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and with all amenities. But most importantly, the owner was very accommodating, informative and genuinely kind. She waited for us when our flight got delayed and we checked in at 2am. We were then able to modify our stay of 5 nights, when I decided to change our itinerary after we already arrived (due to weather). She also helped us booking a last minute taxi back to the airport. If/when we return to San Pedro, we will definitely try to book a stay here."

"Staff very helpful and friendly, although no English. Happy to converse using translation tools. Swimming pool was closed due to it being winter, which I didn’t reslise when I booked. A couple of times there was no water, no electricity and no wifi, but staff worked to resolve the issue. Breakfast was very good and there was free tea, coffee and iced drinking water available all day. I didn’t have supper at the hotel but did have some drinks at the bar by the open fire which was welcoming and warm."
