"Outstanding location, literally steps above and overlooking excellent tide pooling and a beach. The coastal flowers in between offering a perfect frame. Great coffee shop 100' south. Clean tasteful room. The lack of insight management was a first for us and present a few minor logistical challenges, the most important thing to know is that the code you're given for your room is NOT for the lockboxes in the unstaffed office. It's to be entered in the slightly finicky digital locks on each room...

"Great property with great owners who are fast, efficient, and kind. I stayed at a Best Western a 1/2 mile away on the same road that was disgusting and 2.5 times the price. Although no breakfast - better property in spades!"

"Miranda Gardens was so quaint, surrounded by redwoods, and very convenient for exploring Avenue of the Giants. Two restaurants and a coffee shop directly across the street make it a very convenient place to stay. Loved it!"

"Great location. Near Eel River and Dean Creek. Friendly check in. Check in time was 4 pm but we arrived at 1:30 pm and our room was already available. The water was shut off due to a plumbing issue but it was resolved in 20 minutes. Meanwhile Lisa, the manager, gave us a free gallon of water. Very close to the Avenue of the Giants and Shelter Cove. "
