"Upon arrival we were greeted and information was provided about the hotel (breakfast, ice location and elevator). The staff were all nice and answered our many questions about things to do and Places to eat in Rotterdam. They instructed us about the various transport options and provided directions/suggestions. The room was clean except for the carpet which had stains (likely dropped coffee). We prefer firm mattresses and were pleasantly surprised to find such a great bed. First really good night’s sleep in two weeks (we are traveling for a couple months). We hope to be able to stay here again sometime."

"The grand cafe is a lovely place to have a coffee and watch the ships go by on the river Maas. The rooms are large and comfortable and offer the same, lovely view over the river. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great stay!"
