"We’ve stayed here a number of times, always good. Breakfast today (Sunday) was poor. The host did not seem to know what she was doing. Ran out of everything before 9am. We were there til about 9:30 and people were still coming in for breakfast. She was on the phone with possibly the supervisor asking questions. All the juices were gone, no milk, no yogurt. The bread basket was sparse. She was constantly telling people how to serve themselves at the hot plate and waffle area. No cups for juice, had to use coffee cups for drinks. She wanted to talk to guests and make excuses more than replenish items. Just all around poor."

"My family's 5 day stay at the Hotel Rose has been the best experience. The rooms are very well maintained and EXTREMELY clean & cozy. The hotel staff members are kind and courteous and very helpful. Parking is good and securely monitored as is the inside of the hotel as well, requiring a room key to access the elevators and stairwell. Great restaurants and recreational activities all within walking distance. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Rose if you plan on visiting the Rockford Mi area."

"Clean, updated room. Electric cover plates were broken and not repaired. Breakfast was nothing special and they ran out of coffee 2 of 3 days we were there. Truck noise from the freeway was noticeable in our 3rd floor room but not too bad with the fan on full speed."
