"Hawthorne Hotel was warm and welcoming! We loved the atmosphere and strongly enjoyed all the amenities. We really enjoyed Sophie at the front desk for being a great person! We also enjoyed Matt the server who works The Tavern and Hawthorne restaurant! Excellent team members."

"We booked the king bed room and it was great- spacious, clean, stylish. The location was great, also,right in the middle of the pedestrian area with shopping and restaurants all around us, and all our sightseeing trips within walking distance. Staff was great. Just a few negatives- we booked, partially, due to the rooftop bar and lower level bar, only to find out they are both closed on Mondays, our only full day there. This wasn't evident when we booked. "My husband and I were in the area for a surgery and because of a reservation mishap at a different hotel we found ourselves having to make a same day reservation at Candlewood. Doug and the rest of the staff made our arrival and check in a breeze, they were even able to accommodate our special requests. The only odd things about this hotel is that it’s built a bit awkwardly with a split entrance way that made things feel cramped leading to the front desk. Also the one ice machine in the hotel...
