The owners are absolutely lovely and amazing, the dinner was divine, the breakfast was very tasty and the setting of the lighthouse right at the coast is absolutely stunning. "No light on in hotel on arrival, front door locked, rang bell no answer, phoned hotel straight to answer machine, read note hanging off the front door deliveries to side of building, side door open nobody around went through several doors shouting hello but nobody answered went through private door and got someone who got the key for room. 83 year old lady had to then walk up four flights stairs room in the attic was family room. Went into room and put kettle on as room was cold. I went to...

"We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time."

"This was a great find for our party of 6 and in an excellent location in Girvan. The accommodation was wonderful with well furnished spacious rooms and the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely area for walking and for golf. The only slight negative were the mattresses which could have been firmer."
