2 of the 3 elevators were inoperable and I got stuck on the only one that was still working. When we checked in, there were 15 people waiting and only one check in attendant. The pool was closed and the dining was only accessible by going outside in the rain. Not a good experience.

Everything worked out well. I was given a parking space near the entrance with a notice for my windshield. But, the morning I was checking out the water had been turned off with no notice to me. It was due to renovations being done on that floor. I had to get dressed, pack up & move to another room so that I could wash my face & brush my teeth. No compensation offered, just a sorry.

The hotel is under construction and that is understandable, the only issue we had was that only one elevator was working and we had to wait. Plus parking large vehicle was nearly ompossible

I booked this hotel as if literally around the block from my son's dorm. I was aware they were doing construction as well and I was fine with that. As I have been in the hotel industry for over 20 years and work during numerous hotel remodels. NEVER have I had construction workers walking floors where guest were staying. This is insane, and made me very uncomfortable and felt unsafe as I was traveling alone. But wait it actually gets worse, I mean horrific actually. I struggled to sleep planned on sleeping in before I had to drive 8 hours to New York. I wake up to loud voices and walking on the roof at 9:00 am. I know there's construction going on so I roll over and try to ignore it. I can't seem to ignore it bc it sounds as though there standing outside my bedroom window on the 9th floor..... that's crazy, but is it?!?! NO bc 2 men are standing on scaffolding outside my bedroom window at 9:28am, are u kidding me. I get up go down to the front desk to speak with the FOM. Who said there's to be no construction as it's graduation weekend and management was told no work. She claims she's going to tell the chief engineer to have it stopped. She asked what I would like done, um the men outside my room gone and do what is right before I reach out to corp. She was like I'll make sure to take of this for you. Well she comped a few items from the gift shop. That is inexcusable!!! I was exhausted and was so uncomfortable. At 11 am both men still outside my room window. Despicable

Property is a little old but very conveniently located from Pitt and CMU. Room was ok but water leaked in the shower, only one of the 3 elevators worked throughout our stay. Had to wait long times just to get on and off the 9 th floor. Parking was $40 per night in their small lot which is absolutely ridiculous.

The hotel is located in a great location for Schenley Park, Carnegie Museums and other historic sites. All walkable. Unfortunately the hotel is under construction and the dining option is rough. The construction noise was so loud we could not talk during breakfast on Saturday morning. And the dust in the restaurant from construction was pretty bad. Room was very clean though so we would definitely book again.

This property was under construction when we arrived. We had no prior notice of this. The construction was loud and we could hear it even high up in the building. There were amenities that we paid for, but were closed. The television was not hooked up to WiFi and had no apps - so we had no option to watch a movie. Not ready for guests.

There is construction at this property but the staff really worked to lessen the impact on our stay. It is a great location to museums, universities and dining. The staff really made the difference though.

Our newly renovated room offered a nice view, stylish furniture, and comfortable bed. The hotel was in the midst of a lobby renovation but the staff handled the temporary desk location and other interruptions with aplomb. Hope we get back when the work is complete.
