"Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality."

"It definitely has an old world charm about it with modern conveniences like the bathrooms were up-to-date and spacious showers. Keep in mind if you are visiting with lots of luggage, you might have a hard time with the staircase. It’s a beautiful winding staircase, and I unfortunately brought a big heavy suitcase. "The room was modern and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the breakfast staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. However, the shower water pressure was extremely weak—more like a gentle trickle than a proper shower. As someone with long hair, I found myself spending nearly twice as long showering as usual. After the first night, I mentioned the issue to the front desk and asked whether it might be possible to change rooms. They told me a technician...

"Great unique hotel. A little further away from tourist sites but still easily walkable to get to them and the train was easy to take as well with a convenient stop nearby. Pay parking lot was also convenient. Spa was an added bonus and the rooftop and restaurant were fabulous! Definitely recommend!"
