"The bed was a stack of foam pads that offered no support and constantly sucked me in to the middle of the bed, which had even less support. I think someone urinated in the air conditioning system, every time it cycled on the whole room stank of urine. I am sure we could have complained but it was late and we were tired. I am only writing this because when I went to notify the desk manager in the morning, I don’t think he could care less. I have been staying there multiple times a year for many, many years and although the hotel is showing its wear and tear, it has always been decent enough to stay at. Very disappointed"

"Appears to be short staffed...frequently sign at front check-in/desk rather than person. Proud of their old elevator...but floor of elevator frequently misaligns with room level floor making luggage cart useless. Access to our room was hindered by misaligned hardware - inside bolt and locking mechanism. Took a shoulder push to enter. Antiques abound. So if that is your thing...enjoy them. Parking is free...contrary to hotel reservation sites. Front desk issues paper parking pass for length of stay. Parking is around the corner and down an alley to public parking lot. Hotel issued paper pass on dashboard prevents ticket. Hotel is convenient to downtown shops and restaurants."

"It was passable, but don't set your expectations very high. The carpet didnt lay flat, and the flooring by the tub curling up. It's seen better days. The breakfast is only a prepackaged Svenhard's Danish. No prepared coffee with breakfast so you have to make it yourself in the room with the small machine. Next time we go wine tasting in the area we'll be looking for something a little better."

"This is a old and historic bed and breakfast with lovely owners. It was a great location for walking downtown. It was cozy for my mother/daughter weekend. The breakfast was yummy and delivered to our door. The only criticism I have is that the cleaning of the bathroom could be improved. Specifically the floor behind the toilet, and the back of the cabinet over the toilet were bad, as if nobody had cleaned there in a very long time. Otherwise, everything was great."
