"The hotel is perfection situated, on the sea front and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The harbour is about a 20 minute walk along the seafront. Hotel is lovely. Nice big rooms with a nice size balcony, we had a side sea view room which we didnt know until we arrived and a lovely bathroom. The only negative was supplying a kettle and coffee machine but no tea or coffee sachets or pods. When we asked reception they said they don't supply them you have to buy yourself. The hotel has a car park although its 18 euros a day but is quite large and secure. The hotels breakfast was a bit bland but there was a lovely roof top bar and small swimming pool with fantastic views."

"Great location for the beach and shops , we had a side seaview which was excellent , both pools are well maintained . Breakfast options are vast with lots of coffee machines Calpe is a wonderful location , make sure you also see old town and port"

"Unique place to stay, set on the slopes of Altea, halfway between the church and the beach. A really lovely setting for the restaurant/bistro of the accommodation where the food was amazing… the best in Altea and at an affordable price."

"Perfect place to stay with equally and easy walking distance to the lovely sea front and beach but also to the charming historical city. Plenty of good eateries and bars nearby as well as other amenities. The beds are super comfortable, the aircon is quiet and the en-suite bathrooms are in excellent condition to provide for your comfort. Although the reception desk is not open 24 hrs the helpful friendly and attentive staff are always easily contacted via WhatsApp."

"The service (Stephanie and others) was outstanding! They made us feel welcome from the moments we walked in the door. The welcome glass of cava was a lovely surprise. We sat on the rooftop terrace one afternoon and felt quite spoiled when the delivered wine to us even though we were quite happy to carry it ourselves. We felt quite spoiled! The room was clean and lovely and the bed and pillows were extremely comfy. We will definitely return next year. A wonderful time in Altea! "

"Wow couldn’t fault this hotel (apart from a windy pool as elevated but says a lot that even this couldn’t put me off returning!) Nothing was too much trouble. Staff a dream to deal with. Room was ready on arrival with gorgeous finishing touches like pillow spray, robes, slippers, welcome chocolates, water replaced everyday. Late check out organised with zero issues - so refreshing! Superb location minutes from shops, restaurants and the beach which is a great alternative to the pool. Outstanding room views. Breakfast was out of this world - so much choice. Would 100% recommend! "Rooms were large. Breakfast was great, however, for a 5 star hotel, not having a proper coffee machine in the room (powdered coffee and kettle provided, breakfast starts at 8 am) is not acceptable. Furthrmore, wifi in the rooms was so weak and poor, could not log in (had to go to reception to do so), and then could not upload normal apps like IG. Hotel reception were aware of this problem, so ongoing for a while. Also could not watch Netflix on iPad. TVs in the room are not smart TVs, not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Staff were all friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay here again. "
