"While Karao Hotel may offer budget nightly stays, it offers amazingly large rooms, close vicinity to the Liberia airport, public bus directory in front of Karao, and extraordinary professionally brewed coffee shop and breakfast meals. The (made on premises) breakfast items are inexpensive and high quality. Hope you will enjoy my recent photos of these delights, my companion and I stayed twice in December 2025. Perfect in every way."

"Vacation in a jungle tree house!! This hotel is so unique and built into and around the trees at the edge of the jungle. The hotel is right on the beach, but if you turn to look back when you are in the water, the hotel is not visible! The service team is outstanding and the food was fine (we added short uber trip to Del Coco beach for more restaurant options). Beautiful quiet beach with warm water and fun jungle pool with hot tub. Loved it! "

"Stayed here for 2 nights and I can say it’s the best budget all inclusive hotel in Costa Rica! Location and food was great but there’s not a lot of food options to choose from. They have friendly staff but not the ones in the restaurant. They are just busy talking to each other and doesn’t even want to have an interaction with guests. View was nice! Looks like a painting from afar! Also, don’t forget to hang the DND sign on your door as the hotel staff just go in to your room without knocking...
