"It is pretty basic, but it was SUPER CLEAN, the room was nice and cold, and the staff was amazing. We chose to stay at Ostional Turtle Lodge due to the proximity to the beach where our tour was scheduled. It is definitely off the beaten path a little bit, but that's what makes Ostional such a special place. A short walk to the beach passing a couple small little restaurants made it perfect. "We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food.
