"The good: This is an excellent hotel with spectacular views, friendly staff, and a zen atmosphere. The bad: There is 1.8 KM of unpaved steep rocky road before you get to the gate and another kilometer before getting to the property. This is bad enough that we decided to give up 2 prepaid nights and leave early despite having a 2WD SUV (To their credit, hotel credit us for our incidentals, which accounted for part of the nightly rate). "Loved the pool and the fact that the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, they even went through the trouble of bringing “manzanas de agua” from the tree,clean them and served them pool side on a plate with salt on the side. "Place was very nice and well located. 10 min walk to the Ballena National Park entrance. It was very warm and no fan strong enough to keep windows opened so we had to use air conditioning and leave curtains closed. So we did no feel like staying very long inside. No private exterior area to Relax but there was a great common area with deep pool ! I do recommand if the only thing you need is sleep and shower. "
